    Industrial Edge Hub v2.8.0

    Informative, warning and critical pop-ups on IEM
    Upgrade package and business model configuration for quota based business.

    Up until now App Providers could only sell installations, which did not give them the flexibility to scale their business.

    • App providers can now configure their business model and create upgrade packages depending on their business needs.
    • The current release includes configuration only, but these business models will be used for usage reporting and monitoring in upcoming releases.
    • Two menu name changes are done;
      • Application Management is now Product Management.
      • Application Selling is now Product Selling.

    A couple of domains have been introduced. These domains are needed to download applications from Industrial Edge Hub (IEH) to Industrial Edge Management (IEM) and upload new apps to Industrial Edge Hub.
    In order for your management to continue work properly please add the following domains to your Firewall whitelist.
    • products.eu1.edge.siemens.cloud
    • upload.products.eu1.edge.siemens.cloud

    Disclaimer: The business model is only a configuration for now. Quota monitoring will be handled in upcoming versions.
