Adding to the Marketplace

Before you can sell your product in the IE Marketplace, the dedicated part of Industrial Edge in DEX, first you must register your product in DEX. After registering your product in DEX, you receive the product ID as marketplace identifier. You need this marketplace identifier during the registration of your product.

Requirement

• You have registered your product in DEX.
• You have received the product ID as marketplace identifier.
• The product is in "Ready for marketplace" status.

Procedure

1. In the "Product Selling" screen, click the tile of the respective product to open the marketplace information.
   
   When you open the marketplace information of an product for the first time, no marketplace information are added.

2. Click "Create your marketplace entry".
   
   The "Add Marketplace" screen is displayed.
   

3. In the "Product Id" input field, enter the received product ID.

4. In the "Product URL" input field, enter the product URL of your product.
   When purchasing the product from the IE Hub via the icon, customers will be redirected to this URL from which they can purchase the product.

5. Click "Save".
   
   The marketplace entry has been added to your product.
   
   From this table, you can again edit the marketplace information of your product or delete the marketplace information via the respective icons under "Actions".

6. Click "Request Approval".
   
   A warning is displayed. The marketplace information of your product are only editable when the product is in "Ready for marketplace" status. Once you request the global IE Marketplace approval, the app is in "Pending Approval" status and the marketplace information are not editable or deletable anymore. If you want to edit the marketplace information after the app version is in the IE Marketplace, contact the Industrial Edge Support.

7. Click "Ok".
   
   The product is now in "Pending Approval" status.
   

The Industrial Edge Support checks the request to publish your product to the IE Marketplace. After the Industrial Edge Support verifies the provided information, the product is "In Marketplace" status and purchasable for other consumers.
