Homepage

After you have connected the Industrial Edge App Publisher to a Docker Engine and to an IEM, the homepage of the IE App Publisher consists of a header and 3 sections. If the IE App Publisher is not connected to an IEM, only the section "Standalone Applications" is available.

Requirement

The IE App Publisher is connected to an IEM.

The following image shows the "Header" of the homepage.

The following table explains the function each element of the header has:

Component Description
header Home: To go to the homepage click this button. This button is in the IE App Publisher always present.
header Workspace: To select another Workspace, click this button.
header Export Workspace: To export your Workspace to another folder in your system, click this button.
header Tasks: To see all Tasks of your current session, click this button.
header Account: If you click this button, a drop-down screen with the following options appears:
- Management: To change the Edge Management, with which the IE App Publisher is connected, click this button.
- Profile: To view and change your profile settings, click this button.
- Sign Out: To sign out your account, click this button.
header Create Image: To create an image, click this button. Find more information in the section "Creating a Docker image"
header Pull Image: To pull an image from a public repository and download the image to the Docker Development Server, click this button.
header               Docker Engine: To change or disconnect the Docker Development Server, click the blue address of the Docker Development Server.
header Logs: To change the logging settings or download the log files, click this button.

Standalone Applications

In this section of the IE App Publisher, you can manage the Edge Apps in the IE App Publisher. The following image shows the "Standalone Applications" section of the homepage.

Component Description
header Refresh: To refresh this section, click this button.
header Import App: To Import Edge Apps (*.app and *.tar files) from your PC, click this button.
header Create App: To create a new Edge App, click this button. This option is only for Docker based Edge Apps.
header Info: To get the basic information about this section, click this button.
header               App Tile: The app tile is a tile that represents one App. The tile has the following functions in this section:
- To get to the Versions screen of the Edge App, click the icon of the App. Find more information about the Versions screen in the section "Versions Screen"
- To delete or export the Edge App, click the 3 dots in the lower right corner of the tile.

App Projects

In the "App Projects" section, you can see your projects. The following image shows the "App Projects" section of the homepage. This section is shown up when you are connected to an IEM.

header Refresh: To refresh this section, click this button.
header Create new project and app: To open the "App Projects" module of the IEM in a new browser tab, click this button.
header Info: To get the basic information about this section, click this button.
header To choose from which projects the Apps are displayed in the section "App Projects", click on the arrow. Then select the project in the drop-down menu.
header               To open the Versions screen of the Edge App, click the icon of the App. Find more information about the Versions screen in the section "Versions screen".

Authorized Application

In the section "Authorized Application", you can see your group Memberships. The following image shows the "Authorized Application" section of the homepage. This section is shown up when you are connected to an IEM.

header Accept Invitation: To open the module "Authorized Application" of the IEM in a new browser tab, click this button. Enter the invitation code you got from the application owner.
header Info: To get the basic information about this section, click this button.
header               App Tile: To open the Versions screen of an Edge App, click on the Icon of that App. Find more information about the Versions screen in the section "Versions Screen"
